BLÜH [BLOO] sounds like the color blue. Its meaning is; to blossom, flourish and thrive.
WHAT DOES BIOACTIVE MEAN?
Having or producing an effect on living tissue. Our cellular extracted botanicals deliver the most potent and vital bioactive constituents of a plant. For example, vitamin C supports collagen production, phenolic and ellagic acid promote elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These potent bioactives provide powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which help prevent pre-mature aging.

Yes, our products and raw ingredients are never tested on animals.
ARE BLÜH ALCHEMY PRODUCTS SAFE DURING PREGNANCY?
We consider our products to be safe. However, women can become sensitive or respond differently to certain ingredients during pregnancy. We recommend discussing your product choices with your doctor. Furthermore we encourage people to patch test our products regardless if you're pregnant as people may react to certain active ingredients.
ARE BLÜH ALCHEMY PRODUCTS VEGAN?
All our products are vegan except for our lip balm which contains ethically sourced bees wax.
ARE BLÜH ALCHEMY PRODUCTS GLUTEN-FREE?
Our products don’t contain gluten however we cannot guarantee they’re 100% gluten-free because our raw ingredients may be exposed to ingredients containing gluten from our suppliers.
WILL OIL CAUSE MY SKIN TO BREAKOUT?
No, this is a common myth. Actually, harsh cleansers can strip the lipid barrier (the protective outer layer of your skin) causing an overproduction of oil which can lead to breakouts. Our facial oils absorb quickly, penetrating deep into your skin helping to retain moisture levels while strengthening and protecting your skin’s lipid barrier from environmental damage.

HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS FRAGRANCED?
Our products are formulated with pure therapeutic grade essential oils, chosen for their unique benefits to the skin.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF BLÜH ALCHEMY PRODUCTS?
We guarantee a 12 month shelf life for unopened products. Once opened they can typically last up to a year or longer if cared for properly. However, we recommend using them within 6 months for optimal potency.
HOW DO I BEST STORE AND CARE FOR MY BLÜH ALCHEMY PRODUCTS?
Our products are made with fresh active ingredients and should be stored in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Products should be kept free from water entering the bottles and jars as this can cause contamination and impact the efficacy of the product.
DOES BLÜH ALCHEMY USE PRESERVATIVES?
Yes, we use Ecocert, plant based preservatives which are necessary to protect products containing water from developing potentially harmful yeast, mold and bacteria.
IS THE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
Yes, our glass containers and packaging material are 100% recyclable and reusable.
